We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Financial Controller ready to take their first step up to Finance Director level. Your role:
You will play a pivotal role in the executive team of this privately-owned, highly profitable business. Leading financial and operational strategy, you will drive the companies objectives of growth – your success here will lead to vast personal development, so anyone seeking a prosperous career path, this company can guarantee this.
The opportunity:
You will be a critical finance leader responsible for both technical and commercial accounting. Your role will extend to building and nurturing relationships with external stakeholders to drive growth while managing the entire finance function, including systems, controls, and processes, as well as budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
You will business partner, drive strategy, build your team, influence business decisions, be a trusted adviser to the MD – you will be given all the essential exposure and know-how to develop into a rounded, accomplished Financial Director.
Your profile:
To be capable of achieving the outlined plans, you will need determination, a strong business and commercial acumen and the gravitas to implement change and challenge the status quo. As the MD puts it, ‘you will grab this business by the scruff of the neck and run with it!’
Proven experience as a FC or FD is essential here given the level of responsibility in the role, we are seeking someone who is talented and has the energy to see the potential of the business.
