The role is perfectly aligned for someone is a self-confessed Excel geek & gets satisfaction from information being accurate!

This company requires someone who lives and breathes data, doesn’t want to just process information but wants to understand WHY it’s being processed; basically, someone who is an inquisitive soul who won’t rest until they’ve found solutions!

You will be the person to spot anomalies and trends or identify ways in which existing processes could be streamlined; the information you find will then be used by management to scrutinise and make commercial decisions.

You’ll need to be a whizz at Excel – by this, you’ll need to actually be able to use all its functionalities such as Pivot Tables, LOOKUPs and IF Statements, not simply use it to “update” information. And if you have Power BI or SQL knowledge then winner!

The business cannot be the very best in their industry without extensive revenue reporting and analysis; the Directors have a real robust and aggressive growth plan but need a Finance Analyst who will go to them with an intricate, detailed and well-thought-out reporting model for them to use and get the information they need.

This is such a crucial hire for the business; they’re intent on bringing in the very best Finance Analyst in the market; in return, their set-up will allow for this individual to really see this as a “project” to grab with both hands, run with & reap the rewards in terms of progression opportunities in as little as 12 months.

They’ll even throw in an accountancy study package should you wish to gain a qualification as the work you present will be used by everyone in finance so theoretical knowledge would be a real bonus!
