£26000 - £28000
If you are a credit controller that really enjoys what they do, but wants a business that can offer hybrid working and increased flexibility then this is the role for you.
This company understands the importance of flexibility for all their staff and encourages people to have a great work / life balance….in the directors own words if the staff can see we look after them, they will look after us too.
Because of this they give all their staff the option to work from home 2 days a week alongside an early finish every Friday.
It’s a great job too, it’s a clean ledger that has been well maintained, in fact the role has only become available because the person in the position is being promoted, so they will be around to help with your training and to share their knowledge and experience with you.
The majority of customers on the ledger are long standing, so of course there will be some challenging ones to keep you on your toes and make the job interesting, but the majority are people the business has worked with for years so its more about maintaining relationships and dealing with issues if they arise.
The position is varied too, it’s not repetitive or boring…far from it. You will be involved in each step of the credit control process from sending out invoices through to chasing the money, allocating the cash and keeping management up to date with debtor reports.
Ultimately you will be given the autonomy to manage each step of the credit control process, you can take an approach that suits you, and this will be backed by the management team.
So if you enjoy what you do, but need a bit more back from your employers, or a bit more variety in the role this one is certainly worth considering.
Due to the nature of the role you must have previous credit control experience to be considered, and the business may be relocating, so it is important you are able to commute to Radcliffe or Little Hulton.
