The current Credit Controller will be going on maternity for 9-12 months before Christmas, so they are looking to bring someone in ASAP so that there is a sufficient handover. As the client is looking to move on this quickly, it is perfect for someone who wants a role before Christmas due to being made redundant or being immediately available.
You will have the opportunity to choose your start and finish times, as the business prides itself on inhabiting a relaxed environment, they encourage staff to have a good work/life balance. Additionally, if you are only looking to work for four days a week, this is something the client could accommodate.
The great part about this opportunity is that the ledger is already tidy – you aren’t going to be coming into a role where there’s bad aged debt or a high value of unpaid invoices, instead, you will just be maintaining the ledger and ensuring any disputes or queries are resolved. To be considered you will need to have B2B credit control experience.
This is a standalone role, but you’ll be working in a close-knit busy finance office and regularly speaking to the commercial team ensuring client relationships are maintained. You have the opportunity to showcase your credit control knowledge and experience as they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
