The flexibility available in this job is insane; it has to be one of the very best opportunities for a Bookkeeper that is still early in their career but keen to build on their skills.

Working at a brilliant firm of accountants in Wilmslow this is what you would benefit from:

Hybrid working – You can work from home up to 3 days a week if you want (5 days in the office is fine too)

Flexi time – Start anytime between 8 and 10 and finish between 4 and 6 (perfect if you want to beat the traffic)

The role is full time, but if someone was looking for part time or to work around other commitments e.g family that is an option too

Christmas through to New Year shut down (no need to battle for time off or use up your holiday allowance)

Study support – If you want to do your AAT and ACCA they will help (but you don’t have to)

The firm has around 50 staff but you will be working in a close-knit team of 4 where you will be carrying out the day to day Bookkeeping tasks for a wide range of clients; there’s plenty of variety involved and is perfect for anyone that likes to be kept busy.

Your manager will support and mentor you and if career progression is important there’s bags of it here; you can move up within the Bookkeeping department or there’s scope to move across to other teams such as year end accounts in the future.

A great working environment is backed up by a really supportive management team which means people just don’t leave the firm once they join…this role is only available because someone has been promoted.

The business needs someone with a minimum of 18 months experience – ideally in a firm of accountants however industry Bookkeepers are also being considered.
