Having spoken with the Directors of this business I can say that whoever secures this Bookkeeper role would be lucky to work with them.
They are proud of the business, the team and how collectively they have all created a fantastic company which is highly profitable and gives every employee freedom and support to perform to the best of your abilities.
You will be the engine room of finance – they know without someone like you, the business couldn’t possibly operate or become more profitable which is why they trust & respect the individual in this role so much.
You will manage the day-to-day transactional accounting and work closely with the external accountants who take control of the monthly management accounts; these are accountants who have worked with the business for over 10 years so have all the answers to any questions you may have – they’re basically part of the team and are always at the other end of the phone, whatever time of the day!
Meetings, one to one’s or just general catch-up chats are encouraged by the Directors throughout the month – no matter what that is to discuss, their door is always open and your time with them is an open forum for you; they are approachable and always want to come up with solutions for any questions you raise!
Your first 3 months will be spent working from the Stockport office however are you become comfortable & confident with the processes at the business and are settled in, the Directors are more than happy for you to operate on a hybrid working model.
