Having spoken with the Directors of this business I can say that whoever secures this Bookkeeper role would be lucky to work with them!

There’s two divisions within the group so you’ll look after one entity whilst your colleague overseas the other; You will be the engine room of finance – they know without someone like you, the business couldn’t possibly operate or become more profitable which is why they trust & respect the individual in this role so much.
You will manage the day-to-day transactional accounting and payroll on a 35-hour week and work closely with the external accountants who take control of the monthly management accounts; these are accountants who have worked with the business for over 10 years so have all the answers to any questions you may have – they’re basically part of the team and are always at the other end of the phone, whatever time of the day!
Meetings, one to one’s or just general catch-up chats are encouraged by the Directors throughout the month – no matter what that is to discuss, their door is always open and your time with them is an open forum for you; they are approachable and always want to come up with solutions for any questions you raise!
Honestly, this job is for a lifer! Someone to become part of the furniture, part of the family and stay until retirement – because why would you leave when you’re treated so well?
