This business has a fantastic Managing Director, after visiting the office it is clear he has his employees’ best interests at heart. Although this is a standalone role, the MD likes to ensure you are supported by offering:

Clear Communication: You can expect regular meetings to discuss the company’s financial health, priorities, and any upcoming changes that you will be a part of that might impact the accounting processes.

Financial Transparency: You will have access to all the company’s financial data, the MD trusts his staff and isn’t protective over work.

Work-life Balance: The business offers hybrid working and encourages you to have a good work-life balance. As it is a standalone role, the business can offer you flexibility. The MD wants to ensure your workload is manageable and reasonable.

Problem Solving: If you ever encounter complex financial issues or discrepancies, the MD will offer support as he has a wealth of experience. You will be able to work collaboratively, and he is always open to fresh ideas if you want to introduce new processes!

You will be bringing the accounts up to trial balance and ensuring the company’s finances are maintained. This is a varied role and would suit someone who likes working autonomously. Working in an open-plan office, there is plenty of opportunity to socialise with the team when you’re in the office.
