This firm of accountants is looking for a bookkeeper who wants to do “the whole package”!

These were the words of the Operations Director who is looking for an experienced bookkeeper who wants to experience working with their exciting client portfolio and more importantly, build relationships with these clients.

Unlike a lot of traditional firms who will only interview candidates from a practice background, this firm see the value in bringing in someone from industry who wants to offer their expertise to a multitude of different businesses.

They work with some incredible industries including hospitality, motor trade and retail – from sole traders through to SMEs, and the opportunity to visit these clients’ offices and discuss their accounts.

The role would suit someone who is well versed in managing transactional accounting (inclusive of purchase and sales ledger) and fancies adding more strings to their bow in terms of completing month-end processes and tax work!

You will work closely with an Accounts Assistant who prepares the statutory accounts and a dedicated Client Manager who is responsible for improving processes for clients and suggesting areas of improvement; and they are happy for you to have an input in this too!
