This role is perfect if you want to work for a Director who will put all his trust in you to get your head down and do the job. This is a role where you get to manage the accounts autonomously however there will be wider support by the rest of the office when needed so you’ll never feel overworked or under pressure.
This role requires an individual who has great attention to detail because when the company exceeds expectations everyone is entitled to an annual bonus and additional benefits throughout the year including discount codes for clothing brands, meals out, bottles of wine, and vouchers as a thank you for your hard work. Once you’ve passed your probation you will be allowed to work from home on a hybrid structure. The Directors believe in creating a good work life balance for flexibility as long as the work is done.

The bulk of your role will be preparing accounts up to trial balance using Sage Line 50. If you do have experience beyond this including month-end close, this would be a real bonus. However, there are always external accountants available to assist with period end.
