If you’re a skilled bookkeeper who’s outgrown the routine of working for a single business, this is your chance to shake things up.
This is a modern accountancy practice looking for someone who’s ready to manage multiple clients, work across different industries, and take real ownership of their work. No micromanaging. No rinse and repeat. Just proper variety and responsibility everyday.
Who would love this role?
- You’ve worked inhouse and found it repetitive
- You’re ready for more variety, more pace, and more impact
- You’ve got practice experience (or similar) and can manage multiple clients confidently
- You enjoy juggling tasks, staying organised, and making clients’ lives easier
- You want to be trusted to get on with your work with no one looking over your shoulder
You can work 1 day at home but also be flexible during your working week to spend time at clients’ offices (travel no further than Stockport, and you will be reimbursed) – this isn’t a job where you’ve be chained to your desk; every day will be different, exciting and you certainly won’t be clockwatching!
The business is really understanding of commitments outside of work – over 80% are working parents so they can be flexible with start & finish times (however, you must be able to commit to full-time equivalent)
