Assistant Management Accountant – 10 month FTC

The Assistant Management Accountant will support the Senior Management Accountant and finance team in providing accurate financial information and analysis to aid in strategic decision-making. This role involves a blend of accounting, financial reporting, and data analysis to ensure the company’s financial health and growth.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management meetings
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering and analysing financial data
- Assist in the preparation of budget reports and variance analysis
- Perform reconciliations of key accounts, including bank reconciliations, supplier statements, and intercompany balances
- Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between actuals and forecasts/budgets
- Monitor and analyze departmental expenses, providing insights and recommendations for cost control
- Process and review expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies.

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Minimum of 2 years within a similar role
