Hands down the most exciting new position of 2024 (bold statement, I know – but true) because the most important things at this business are team culture, and employee progression & personal development. So they have everything in place for you to have a successful AND happy career – isn’t that what everyone wants?!

You must have a grounding in basic Management Accounts (accruals, prepayments & journals) and the FC will teach you all of the rest and everything there is to know, pulling together full sets of Management Accounts. The exposure won’t stop there, usually at this level you may not be taught reporting, budgeting, analysis & presentation of the accounts but they will ensure you are! This really is the role that is going to fast track your career.

The FC will be working alongside you every step of the way, no question is a stupid question and don’t worry about feeling thrown in at the deep end, you’ll be learning lots of new things but taught properly as ultimately you are the future of this finance team, they envisage role to become a fully qualified ACCA/CIMA Management Accountant in the next 2-3 years and it will not stop there!
