With recent successful acquisitions, my client is looking to bring a confident, enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant on board into their close-knit supportive finance team.
This is ideal for someone confident and fully proficient in transactional accounting, has basic management accounts experience, and wants to transition into a more senior role. You will be given in-depth training from the Management Accountant about everything ‘month-end’ and your development will be encouraged!
You will jump straight into it and initially tackle VAT returns, accruals, and prepayments. Then once you feel you have mastered these you will move on to more complex duties including balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, and completing P&Ls. The business aims to nurture and support you, and have you become ‘part of the furniture’ in a team with great training and retention.
Ideally, you will be AAT qualified and looking to start your ACCA/CIMA, the business understands the importance of gaining qualifications and are happy to support you with your studies. It’s important you’re a team player, as you will be assisting the team in hitting targets and closing month-end.
