If you are desperate to get your hands on the full Management Accounts but your current company is holding you back here is the solution.
This business wants you to be knocking on the door and asking for more, in fact the Financial Controller has specifically asked for people that are ambitious and career driven – he wants to get to FD and the only way he can do this is by hiring someone to take control of the Management Accounts freeing him to move up within the company.
The goal is to mentor you into producing full sets of Management Accounts autonomously, where you will gain exposure to board level presentation and reportingβ¦initially alongside the Financial Controller but eventually you will take the lead.
If you are still studying the company will provide full study support; and a commitment that you will be give the time and resources to get through the last of your exams as quickly as possible.
This role offers so much exposure, and a unique opportunity to enhance your technical skills under the guidance of a qualified FC.
You don’t need to be the finished article; but you will need some exposure to the monthly accounts, along with excellent communication skills for dealing with non finance contacts within the business. You will also ideally be studying towards your ACCA /CIMA with a good history of exam passes.
Finally, this role will allow you to condense 2-3 years of progression at any other business into less than 12 months; so if you are wanting to get places with your career, and wanting to get there in the quickest time possible you need to apply.
