If you are an ambitious Accountant that is looking for the opportunity to work alongside an experienced CIMA Qualified Finance Director that will help you progress with your career and expand your skills then this is the role for you.
There is no ceiling on your development in the role, you will be a joining a company that is going from strength to strength and despite the challenges many firms are facing they are thriving and expanding, and having recently gone through a re-brand and currently in the process of launching a new range of products it is genuinely the ideal time to join.
Supported by the FD anyone applying for the position must have a ‘roll your sleeves up’ attitude; there will be lots of involvement in the day to day accounting processing, along with working closely with the Finance Director to produce the monthly management accounts and relevant reporting.
Ideally the FD would like to develop this individual so you will have ambitions to become a qualified accountant, and its essential that you have a confident, outgoing and professional personality.

- Supporting in the production of the end to end monthly management accounts
- Supporting of month end and year end processing
- Cash flow management
- Liaise with third parties including banks, HMRC and other stakeholders
- Monthly accruals, prepayments and journals
- Prepare and submit VAT Returns and EC Sales Submissions
- Management of Purchase, Sales, Nominal Ledger duties
Although you don’t need experience in all of the above areas you must have previous finance experience and you will ideally have or be studying towards a relevant finance qualification.
You must also have a self motivated and driven personality, along with a desire to both challenges and push yourself and your career.
