As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be working closely with a team of 3 Management Accountants and reporting into the Finance Manager. The role has become available due to substantial growth and the business needs an extra pair of hands to help them manage its finances.
Alongside assisting with managing the companies transactional finance, your primary focus will be producing the management accounts. This includes:
- Reviewing the P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Cash management duties including the posting of transactions and weekly reconciliations.
- Responsible for maintaining the Fixed Assets Register.
- Monthly interest posting for Group and External Loans.
- Monthly recharges inc. management fees
- Month-end reconciliations.
- Accruals, prepayments, Project work.
- Assisting with quarterly VAT.
- Assist with the year-end process.
To qualify for this role, you need to have mastered transactional accounting and have the ambition and drive to push your career forward. It is essential you have management accounts experience as all training will be provided.
