Platinum have been exclusively retained by a market-leading design group, a trusted subcontractor to the construction industry across the North-West, looking to appoint a brand new position in the finance team, available due to growth.
The group is formed of 4x companies, all specialist in different areas of design and fit-out. You will focus on the accounting for 1x business within the group with a view for this to grow into ownership of 2x companies as you become more confident and integrated into the group.
You’ll have full involved in month-end, management accounts production, VAT subs, CIS subs, balance sheet recs and even support the SLT with the implementation of a new accounting software, moving the business from XERO to a system more appropriate and scalable for growth.
There’s a Group Finance Director above you to mentor and develop your skillset. He’s incredibly hands-on and has the time to invest in you, so any areas you aren’t confident in, or any areas you’re keen to up-skill in, be assured the Group FD will commit to training those areas.
This is a slick, and forward-thinking business with a pipeline of projects expanding out to 2028!!! With the projects secured, t/o will increase by nearly 50% this year, massive growth, so this role is absolutely critical in ensuring finance keeps up with additional demands.
Meeting with the Group FD and the MD at the Birchwood office, they are both absolutely committed to continuous improvements and innovation.
