The business I’m working with want an Assistant Accountant who genuinely loves their job, is genuinely good at it and wants to concentrate on broadening their skillset in their own organic way with no pressure to sit exams!

So, this isn’t the role for you if you want to be the next Financial Controller – but it is the role for you if you still want to challenge and push yourself, develop skills in analysing, reporting, and implementing new processes but without stress or worrying about your next job title!

The landscape of the accounts for this business are ever-changing due to the continuous growth it’s had for the past 5 years, its truly on an upwards trajectory where an accomplished Assistant Accountant will bridge the gap perfectly between the senior leaders and the transactional team.

They operate an “open arms model” – the Director’s words not mine, and what he means by this is that you won’t be restricted in terms of input you can have – your opinions matter and any suggestions for improvement will be welcomed.
