This is the perfect opportunity for an Administrator looking to transition into their first finance role!
If you want a career in accounting and want to pick up these additional skills in as soon as 6 months, this company will give you all the training and support to make this happen.
They are looking to interview Administrators who understand how an office functions and are confident in liaising with internal & external stakeholders including customers and suppliers.
You will then work with a Senior Accountant (who we placed in this role 5 years ago and he’s now progressed to this level) who will act as your mentor and give you the opportunity to support her with his workload which will include the sales & purchase ledgers, preparing payments, reconciliations, and credit control.
By Christmas 2023, they hope you will be in the position where you’re well on your way with your AAT Qualification and are in line for a pay-rise and promotion in line with your hard work and commitment during your first year – this is a business that is forecasting a 30% increase in growth this year alone and you will experience all the extra rewards and incentives that are a consequence of this.
You will not be thrown in at the deep end and be expected to “get on with it” – the training you receive will be tailored to suit how you work best; the Senior Accountant to this day still receives support and guidance from the Finance Director on a regular basis.
There is the option to work from home 3-4 days a week and the company is well equipped to offer full training over Teams however the office is always open and the FD actually works from there Monday – Friday so if you prefer to go in, interact with the team, or simply would like your training to be done face to face, this is also possible – whatever suits your working style, they’ll accommodate this, alongside offering flexible start and finish times for all staff – no one is going to be monitoring what time you log on or off, you’ll will be trusted!
