This is the Finance Manager every Accounts Trainee tells me they’re looking to work for!
Supportive, approachable, and inspiring are the key words I’d use to describe this client; he has been in your shoes therefore understands the challenges you face trying to carve a name for yourself in the industry.
He’s looking for an AAT studier who has maybe gained 6 – 12 months’ finance experience but is lacking a mentor; he is at the stage of his career now where he wants to share the knowledge he has built up with his next recruit.
There will be a structured development plan created on Day 1 to showcase to you exactly how you can climb the ladder at this business; it’s something that they’ve found always works when they tailor it specifically to the needs of the individual!
You will enjoy exposure into every aspect of transactional finance and as you will be working so closely with the Finance Manager you will soon pick up extra responsibilities including month-end close and management accounts.
Appraisals will be held regularly to ensure you’re happy and confident in the role; if you need additional training or support, you’ll be encouraged to speak out – they don’t want any member of the team feeling they can’t voice how they’re feeling.
