There is plenty of opportunity for you to really broaden your skills as you learn about the intricacies of everything from ambitious start up tech firms through to multi-national retailers turning over tens of millions of pounds.
With a really successful study programme if getting through your exams is important there is plenty of support and resources around you to make things easierβ¦..but if studying is not top of your priority list or in fact if you have no interest in studying that won’t hold you backβ¦..it’s more about your attitude and technical skills than anything else – promotions here are based on you performing in the job, rather than where you are at with your qualifications.
The business needs individuals that have a minimum of 12 months experience working at a UK based firm of accountants; with a solid understanding of how to produce a set of accounts on cloud-based software. Attitude and personality are key – so you will need to be positive person that takes pride in what they do to fit in with the wider business.

- Preparation of statutory accounts from client records
- Preparation of the quarterly VAT and PAYE liabilities for each individual client
- Producing and understand the weekly management accounts and able to discuss in detail as necessary
- Communicate HMRC deadlines to clients in relation to VAT/PAYE and Corporation Tax Systems
- Ongoing communication with clients regarding tax, expenses, dividends, salary and other matters
- Annual discussion regarding statutory accounts and discussing with the client their financial performance and position and give tax advice as necessary
