The Opportunity:

Led by an ambitious leadership team this firm has ambitions to take over the local market through a combination of offering excellent service levels and modern technology and procedures. With offices in Stockport you have the opportunity to work alongside a great team whilst carrying out year-end accounting and bookkeeping functions for a portfolio of clients.
The role would suit a number of different profiles, whether you are currently working in industry accounting and fancy making the switch to practice, or whether you are currently working in practice but want a fresh challenge with an expanding firm.

Yes you will get the training and be able to build on your existing skills, but there is a real buzz around the office around what they are doing and where they want to be. You will work alongside individuals that are ambitious but want to achieve more, and join a culture which you would ordinarily find in marketing and media where it is possible to mix working hard and having fun at the same time.
Your training and development:
The company will support you through your AAT and then onto your ACCA, and unlike any other role I am working with the directors will take the lead in your development and training.
What do you need to demonstrate to be considered:
The right attitude is probably the most important thing however you will also need to have a minimum of 12 months finance experience. Previous experience in practice or industry is being considered – providing you have an understanding of basic accounting processes.
