In fact, you will all work in an open-plan office; when I visited, one Director let me in and the other one made me a brew – it genuinely was such a laid back & relaxed environment, and you can clearly see how much they care for & value their team.
This Accounts Assistant role has become available to support the Finance Manager with all transactional accounting processes; they have a really slick system, no backlog of invoices lying around, no debt left unchased… all ledgers are tidy and up to date, the perfect time to join and perfect time to have your own stamp on the role.
There is no pressure, no stress and you certainly won’t be bogged down with the work – the very reason they’re recruiting is to make the workload manageable for all staff so if you want to work for a company where you can go in, perform at 100% but leave work at the door, this is the role for you.
If alongside for this, it’s important for you to have an excellent working environment, working for Directors who really do invest in their employees’ health & wellbeing over anything else; it’s fully office-based so suits someone who loves being in an inclusive environment, around a team and getting stuck in.
One thing that they have implemented as compulsory for all staff is that you all get together on a Monday morning before anyone logs on, to have a brew, chat about your weekend & bounce ideas off each other for the week ahead – it’s a little mechanism they set up in the last 12 months that has really helped everyone feel confident and supported ahead of the working week.
