Accounts Assistant – 4 Day Working Week!

I’m excited to have taken my first brief for a business who is operating on a 4-day working week model!

They are looking for an Accounts Assistant who will get the same salary, benefits, and study support package as a full-time employee – you will simply just be able to enjoy a day off in the week.

They have a few employees already trialling this pattern and it has worked wonders so far – it’s not affected productivity, in fact if anything, results & stats have improved.

Over the last few months, they have implemented a new accountancy software package which has made a huge difference to efficiencies and has sped up so many transactional finance processes, part of the reason why they can roll out this luxury to staff.

You will work with the Financial Controller and have complete autonomy of the purchase & sales ledger functions so they do need someone to come in with this knowledge already so that you can have an immediate affect in the role.

To compliment this, they will put together a financial study package for you to complete your AAT or start ACCA/ CIMA – and you can even utilise your day off to study so that you don’t have to spend your evenings or weekends with your head in a textbook!
