What an opportunity to work for an FD who is looking for his successor!

He said to me “I’m looking for an Assistant Management Accountant who has the drive, desire and ambition to step into my shoes in the next 5 years!”

He won’t hold back when it comes to training; he believes the more time and resources he invests into his 2^nd in line, the quicker you can develop and the quicker you can be in those Board Meetings with him.

As a pre-requisite, you must have month-end experience as they have a ledger team so do need someone more advanced than this but if you haven’t yet pulled together a full set of management accounts, that is absolutely fine.

You will gain exposure into budgeting, forecasting and P&L reporting so you really will be getting an insight into how the business operates commercially and operationally and this will tie in nicely with what you’re learning in your ACCA/ CIMA.

To top this all off, they are based in Ancoats and can offer free on-site parking – just when you thought it couldn’t get any better!
