Due to a retirement, my client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist with managing the day-to-day accounting for the business. The current Bookkeeper is retiring at the end of the year, but the business has been proactive about finding a replacement to ensure there is a sufficient handover. With the option to WFH 2 days a week, this is ideal if you love working under your own autonomy whilst still being social in the office.
Having visited the business myself, I can understand why there is such a low staff turnover. As soon as you walk in, you can feel how genuine and welcoming the staff are. Although this is a standalone role, you’ll be sat in the main office alongside operations team and the engineers are always popping in and out to have a chat, so no need to worry about feeling isolated!
Experience in the manufacturing industry isn’t essential but would be advantageous. The business has been successfully trading for over 50 years now and has only gone from strength to strength. Although they have grown in size, they still maintain the core family values and recognise staff for their hard work.
