Business Development Manager

£35,000 – £40,000 + Uncapped Commission

Hyde, Tameside

A newly created role for a Business Development Manager to join an established and successful organisation based in Hyde. You will be the first ever hire at this level and will be given the freedom to build your role alongside the Managing Director and manage the full business development and client process.

Supported by an Administrator who is completing all processing, database updates, adding your clients to the system and managing all your paperwork so you can focus purely on business development and client management.

Phase 1 in the role will be to start building the business development model and understand client targets, spot business and begin heading out to meet clients face to face.

Phase 2 will be to implement your own processes and strategy, build your own client portfolio and start to see the return of existing and new clients.

Phase 3 will be to start capitalising on your portfolio, growing the division, noticing trends and recognising the bigger picture for business opportunities.

Clearly this is role of high responsibility so the MD would like someone who has worked within business development/ senior sales and is driven by themselves, puts the work in to be successful and has a strong commercial acumen with accountability to work independently and make decisions.
