Due to expansion, my client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team. If you want to transition into a finance role or want to join a business that offers more exposure, then this role certainly can offer that.
As long as you have a minimum of 6 months experience in an office environment – weather that’s in accounts or doing general admin my client would be interested in your profile. This is as a great opportunity to step into an accounts role as you will receive some excellent training and mentoring as well as being able to start/continue your AAT studies.
Working in a team of 4 and reporting into the Accounts Manager you will be assisting with the day-to-day running of the company’s finances including managing both ledgers and processing payroll. It is an easy-going friendly team, and everyone always has a laugh in the office, so you can expect to have a good time but also be exposed to various different aspects of accounts.
The business can offer some excellent career prospects too. Once you have mastered the transactional accounting there will be the opportunity to assist with more senior duties including assisting with management accounts. This won’t happen overnight, but the business is keen on maintaining staff and are happy to offer career development, and they always say ‘The good things always come to those who wait’!
