International Women’s Day (IWD), celebrated every year on March 8th, recognises the achievements of women and pushes for faster progress towards gender equality.
It’s a day to celebrate how far we’ve come and challenge ourselves to go further.

This year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” highlights a simple truth: when we give opportunity, support and space, we gain stronger teams and better businesses.
Over the years the Platinum team has been predominantly female including some of our most senior roles & we’ve seen the impact of that investment first-hand.
We spoke with our Director, Rebecca Ackerley to hear what her take was on this years theme:
“Give to Gain is about action. When businesses create real opportunity and encourage open dialogue, the return is huge, culturally and commercially. Equality isn’t a tick-box; it’s a growth strategy.”
