This has to be the most fascinating opportunity in the North West finance market, this entrepreneurial business are bolstering their leadership team with the appointment of a Commercial Finance Director.
Reporting to the Board you will assume responsibility for all entities within group with a business an asset value in excess of Β£100m. Led by an “elite” entrepreneur he has guided phenomenal success, investment and acquisition with a crystal clear strategy and goal in place for the next 5 years.
You will operate as Number 1 in finance overseeing 6 entities supported by a finance team across all businesses, with 3 senior direct reports your role will be to challenge the financial integrity, identify areas of opportunity and non-agreement and demand first class accounting standards are achieved within clear deadlines.
You will operate at board level and host pre-board meetings, full board representation and be the eyes on the ground for the MD and investment team.
This organisation thrives on structure, efficiency, process and delivery and across the business every employee is challenged to exceed expectations within responsibilities held. It is expected at this level that you solve problems and understand that you can’t always be liked so on occasion clear conversations are required.
At this level the MD wants visibility from his new Commercial Finance Director so it is expected that you are at HQ daily however he operates an understanding approach toward commitments so can give some flexibility.
