Supply Chain Manager

Β£50,000 – Β£60,000 plus annual company performance bonus and full benefits package
Brand new position to become the first ever Supply Chain Manager for the privately owned, highly profitable SME business. This role has been created to centralize the supply chain database for all products across the business.
At present they run a very basic system where procurement is completed by the Operations Team and then have a matrix for suppliers on an antiquated scoring system of gold, silver and bronze suppliers.
The leadership team recognize the importance of streamlining and centralizing to have a clear supply chain management process to ensure customer and colleague satisfaction is exceeded.
They would love their Supply Chain Manager to build on existing relationships, manage new suppliers, agree purchase and partnership terms inclusive of deal negotiation, manage spending facility up to Β£500k before Director sign off, review supply chain efficiency, set up a quality standard process with regular appraisal.
This needs to be someone vastly experienced within supply chain management and someone with a commercially astute mindset, products are sourced internationally so you must be prepared to travel if required and also ensure that the ROI is achieved.
