Based at their Bury office this firm of Chartered Accountants has a really flexible working pattern; its 35 hours a week and there is hybrid working, a 12 ‘o clock finish on a Friday and the opportunity to start work between 7am and 10am during the week if you want to avoid rush hours or have other commitments outside of work.
Looking after the staff welfare is high on their priority list. There are monthly therapy and massage treatments to boost well-being and morale (optional of course), an annual bonus to make sure people are being recognised for their hard work, and a supportive management team that are on hand when you need them.
The role will be varied so there is plenty to keep you busy; you will work alongside a team of 3 payrollers maintaining the wages of around 100 clients – completing everything from setting up new starters through to closing off payroll year end.
The great thing about this role is you are not working alone; which means there is plenty of cover for when you are on holiday or ill (no firefighting when you get back into the office).
To be considered you must have previous Payroll experience; ideally a minimum of 2 years at a firm of accountants or in a bureau.
You must be proven at working towards monthly deadlines and have great communication skills – if you have these things and a positive attitude this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss out on.
