If you have a passion for music and want to combine this with your career in accounts this Semi Senior role in Manchester City Centre is the perfect opportunity for you.
You will be working for a boutique firm of accountants that specialises in producing the accounts for a portfolio of high-profile bands and musicians. For anyone interested in music this won’t feel like a job, more like an extension of your passion outside of work – and if music isn’t your thing don’t worry it’s the chance to work on a really interesting set of accounts where there is full study support available to get you through any professional qualifications.
Based in the trendy Norther Quarter you will have the opportunity to literally ‘get behind the scenes’ with some of the most well known and recognised recording artists in the UK. You will get the opportunity to support band managers in controlling their finances and budgets as they perform gigs all over the world.
As a Semi Senior your role will be a mix of the following duties:
- Producing Year End Statutory Accounts
- Completing all aspects of Bookkeeping and VAT
- Working on personal and corporate tax
There is full study support for either the ACA or ACCA Qualifications; along with a management team that will ensure you are getting all the exposure you need to compliment your studies.
There is paid time off for study and exams and the business will be 100% committed to ensuring you pass these in the quickest time possible.

To be considered you need to have previous experience at a firm of accountants; ideally a minimum of 18 months. Although not essential you should have an interest in music and be looking for a firm that tries their hardest to distance themselves from the formal and corporate feel a lot of firms have.
