You will be joining a world-leader in their field, a business operating over four continents; specialising in design, engineering and manufacturing.

The role demands an ambitious individual with a keen eye for detail. You will be driven to interrogate the numbers to question the status quo, working collaboratively within the finance team to propel business development and growth.

What will progression look like?

Having worked for the business for a number of years, I can confidently say career progression is proven, encouraged and mapped.

As an Assistant MA, you will work closing alongside the Senior MAs and FM, assisting in everything from P&L analysis to budgets and forecasts. You will even gain exposure to board presentations with the goal to develop you to MA level within 12 months.

This is a company that is passionate about retaining their staff – they achieve this with their fantastic development plan.

What will I gain exposure to?

End-to-end management account preparation

Providing commentary and analysis for the SLT

Assist with the preparation of weekly cash flow report

Intercompany reconciliations

Assisting in budgets and forecasts

Involvement in Board meetings, with the full support of the FM

Requirements:

Part Qualified, studying towards ACCA or CIMA

1 – 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant
