This opportunity would be perfect for the following profiles:
- Administrator who wants to break into accounting (maybe you’ve touched on invoicing or order processing previously)
- Accounts Apprentice who has worked in finance for 6-12 months and contract is coming to an end or there is no further development
Working with a Qualified Finance Manager who has told me he wants to invest in an individual like his first manager did with him, you will receive the best training & support possible so that you can progress through the business.
You will focus solely on getting up speed with the transactional finance (purchase & sales ledgers) within your first 12 months at the business; the business is fast-paced and continuously growing so you won’t be processing a handful of invoices a day and then be sat bored – you’ll be constantly challenged.
You will then have an annual appraisal with your FM where he will map out exactly the next steps you need to take to qualify with your AAT and move onto month-end and management accounting with the business.
As you can see, this isn’t a stop-gap position – it’s been carefully created with an individual in mind; someone who will stay long-term and become a senior figure within the finance team.
You will not just be thrown into the deep end; it’s not a sink or swim role, in fact the business offers a training programme designed specifically to suit how you learn best.
