Summary:
I am thrilled to be working with a client based in Manchester City Centre who is now looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their young, dynamic team. The company offer beautiful modern offices and specialises in software development. You’ll be working in a team of 4 and reporting to the Financial Controller. Due to recent substantial growth in the company this role has become available.
The Financial Controller is looking for someone to come in with a fresh set of eyes and is confident in managing junior staff members. With the monthly social events, you will integrate into the team almost immediately.
The company are passionate about looking after their staff and offer FULL study support for the right candidate. Additionally, they help support employees from all around Europe. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bringing together the Group’s Consolidated management accounts, involving 6 countries
- Assisting in internal and external audits at multiple consolidation levels
- Managing Company payment runs and authorising payments to manage cash flow requirements
- KPI reporting to Senior management
- Group VAT Returns
- Assisting in external tax and R&D queries
- Assisting with Company hedging requirements
- External reporting to key stakeholders
- Assisting with payroll
- Reconciling the companies sales invoices report to the accounting system
- Overseeing credit control
Requirements:
- Experience with Sage 50
- Confident in using Excel – Immediate level
- Confident in implementing processes to smoothen the day to day running of the finance team
- A hard-working individual who is meticulous with their work
