The Sales Director is looking for a support function to his team, someone who can confidently give direction if needed, drop tools and jump onto another task and meet the demands of the department.
It can be a demanding role, the Director, as you can imagine, has high expectations but is stretched and needs tasks completing yesterday so this will fit a specific type of person that isn’t looking for 100% structure and process but will enjoy the multi-faceted, fast paced team and role.
The sales department differs to the “norm” they’re a team that strive for winning high-level business and these projects are in value of £200,000, so they have passion for success and they want you to be onboard with this mentality too.
The role is split between being a PA to the Sales Director and a team coordinator to the rest of the team; meeting and agenda management, overseeing the initial enquiry process, coordinating all relevant documents for the projects and essentially keeping the team in check and ensuring tasks are complete.
Someone who can use their own initiative but also act on what the team needs fast is perfect so an Administrator that has perhaps worked for a Sales Director/ Sales Manager would be a great fit.
