Purchase Ledger Assistant
Location – Salford Quays
Salary – Up to £23,000

The role of Purchase Ledger Assistant will be supporting the Purchase Ledger and wider finance teams including Finance Assistants, Purchase Ledger Clerks and Financial Controller.
The team has a wealth of knowledge so can offer plenty of support and training once you have joined the firm.

Requirements:
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Good experience with accounting software e.g. AccountsIQ, Xero, Sage or equivalent
- Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger Role
- Strong attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Accountancy Qualification would be advantageous but not essential
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Accurate posting of purchase invoices
- Dealing with invoice queries
- Use of supplier portals
- Running payment predictions and uploading supplier payments
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Posting and reconciliation of the credit card
- Continuous review of internal controls within the purchase function
