How does the role look?
You will play a crucial role in an organisation’s financial health by providing detailed financial and operational information to managers. Take a peek at the key duties and responsibilities:
- Budgeting and Forecasting – Prepare and manage budgets, develop financial forecasts and projections and analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures.
- Financial Reporting – Generate internal financial reports for management, prepare detailed analysis and summaries of financial data and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Cost Analysis – Conduct cost-benefit analysis through analysing cost structures and performance.
- Financial Planning and Strategy – Assist Senior Management in the development of long-term financial strategies.
- Risk Management – Identify and assess financial risks by developing risk mitigation strategies and monitoring and managing financial risks.
- Financial Decision Support – Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Capital Budgeting – Evaluate capital investment opportunities.
- Inventory Management – Oversee inventory accounting and valuation.
- Stakeholder communication
- Supporting the Financial Controller with adhoc projects to suit the business
