I am currently working with a modern SME business based in Stockport that is looking to hire a competent Management Accountant due to continued success. You will support the Finance Director and MD with a broad range of accounting responsibilities and enjoy ‘digging’ and being ‘hands-on.’ As this is a brand new role, you will have the unique opportunity to make this role your own and take on as little or as much responsibility as you wish, the Finance Director and Financial Controller being able to offer you to exposure to almost all accounting procedures and situations.
This role as Lead Management Accountant could offer you the chance to progress to Financial Controller within 1-2 years if that’s the route that you are looking to pursue, but equally you could choose to remain as Lead Management Accountant or even branch into Finance Business Partnering; the choice is yours.
