Role Overview:
You will be reporting to the Finance Director, producing detailed monthly management account packs for review and presentation alongside the senior leadership team. This is a key position within the organisation and will give the successful candidate the perfect platform for their future career due to the commercial exposure you will gain.

Day to day:
Overseeing an AAT Trainee you will be allocating and monitoring their work, providing support and guidance where needed. You will work closely with the Finance Director and together you will form the senior leadership team for the finance department. You will be involved in all aspects of Management Accounts, preparing Cashflow Statements, P&L and Balance sheets for Financial Reporting. You will also be responsible for preparing the quarterly VAT returns and budget reports.
Career Prospects:
The Finance Director has mapped out a clear career path over the next 12-18 months for the successful candidate. Initially you will be getting to grips with the internal processes before broadening your remit to more commercial accounting. This will fall hand in hand with you working towards the ultimate goal of this hire which will see you becoming the Finance Manager and recruiting your replacement.
Required level of experience:
You must already be proven in Management Accounts. Ideally you will be studying or recently completed your professional qualifications and you must be looking for a role where you will be encouraged to develop yourself. The business wants someone ambitious to align with the company goals.
