Why is the role available?
Simply due to growth, this is a long-standing client of mine and the success they’ve seen over the last few years has been phenomenal. They’re now at a size and scale where they need to expand the team, across the board, and finance needs a talented Management Accountant to join the team and stay long term.
Is this a long-term option for me?
The short answer is, yes. As the business grows, you will develop into an SLT member, and along the way you’ll be given full study support to qualify your ACCA / CIMA. You’ll gain bags and bags of exposure and experience in the process, laying the foundations for you to step up to No.1.
What’s the culture like?
Collaborative and open. The SLT here don’t shy away from engagement, so if you have an idea of how to improve a procedure, or streamline a process, voice your ideas! It’s encouraged! They’re direct and to the point, and they want you to be too.
Am I a good fit?
On your profile, personality is key. It’s a fast-paced business so the ability to have your voice heard is essential, you’ll be presenting figures from CEO-level down to subbie-level, so a certain level of confidence is needed. Skills-wise, you’ll need to have experience producing Management Accountants up to analysis level, if you have experience with stock / WIP even better.
