Platinum Recruitment Group are working with a large organisation in Trafford Park on a role to report directly into a HR Manager; supporting with the smooth running of the human resources department.
This business operates globally and are adding to their existing human resources team due to two promotions becoming apparent over the next 4 weeks.
Your role will be extremely varied & will be a full generalist role where you can be involved in all aspects of human resources from recruitment through to disciplinary meetings and employee relations issues – however you do not necessarily need experience in all of these areas.
You will be working in a fast-paced role where each day will be different. The HR Manager is willing to provide you with training & support on areas you may need additional support with.
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Providing first line support and advice to management across all areas of the business
- Communicating with various departments & areas of the business including Directors
- Liaising with the HR manager in respect of employee relations matters to create a concrete & advised decision
- Co-ordinate and assist with the disciplinary and grievance procedures – including note taking & reporting
- Record disciplinary and grievance outcomes
- Updating and maintaining the HR system
