Platinum is partnering with an agile and growing business in Manchester – they are circa £30m turnover but with plenty of moving parts and a high degree of diversity / relative complexity. There are multiple trading channels and offerings, varied revenue streams and an interesting degree of ‘levers to pull’.
You’ll be reporting to the strategically focused CFO and your role manages all aspects of the day-to-day financial management of the group (including line management of circa 8 employees within the finance function locally).
There’s lots to get stuck into and it’s an environment with plenty of nuances which allow you to use your grey matter. You’ll be business partnering a broad range of internal stakeholders with varying degrees of financial background.
Your role is to ensure the numbers are credible and accurate but it’s vital that you’re not just a ‘techy accountant’. You need to have great communication skills and a real appetite to get out into the belly of the business to understand where you can contribute to growth, improvement, and positive change.
