This is a role perfectly designed a first time Financial Controller. The business has a young and passionate leadership team and until now have been reliant on external accountants providing financial support.
Due to their continued growth they recognise now is the perfect time to hire their first ever Financial Controller.
They need someone who understand SME accounting, has had full ownership of an accounts function and an individual who is excited to join a business on a journey!
Current turnover is £8Million with YTD growth running at 18% for the half year period and as a newly created position you really have a blank canvas to work from and create something special that you would be able to look back on in 5 years time and say “I did that”.
The FC journey will initially start with the implementation of process, efficiency and financial control that you will take ownership for. Following this it will be advising the 2 company directors on their growth strategy and ensuring that profit and performance is maximised.
