Financial Controller
£50,000 – £65,000 + 10% bonus, enhanced pension, flexible working hours

This is one of those rare opportunities to take on a brand-new role, working for a thriving SME which operates in the ever-changing clothing industry. Currently standing at a healthy turnover of £13 million, the business is going through an exciting and busy phase of international expansion and as a result now requires the expertise of an experienced Financial Controller to support the board in making critical business decision along with ensuring that the day-to day finances are in perfect health.
As you would expect, this a role where you will be able to ‘dig deep’ and have complete visibility over every aspect of the company’s finances. Managing a team of 2 in finance you will support them in ensuring that their deliverables are met. Along with producing and preparing most of the main accounting requirements from budgeting and forecasting to facilitating the year-end audit, you will be involved in cost saving projects, appraisal of proposed new projects and investments with the commercial team and review current processes and implement improvements.
Ideally you should be a qualified accountant or qualified by experience with significant experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller of an SME.
