This is a brand-new role in the business, giving you the freedom to grow and make a real impact. You’ll have the opportunity to become a key player on the senior team within an established company in the heart of Warrington. Are you a confident Finance Manager looking for more autonomy? Do you love seeing things improve thanks to your efforts? As the No. 2 in Finance, you’ll be crucial in supporting the Finance Director with the daily hustle of a thriving Finance Team.
Leading a small team and owning all things finance, you’ll find this role not just rewarding but excitingly dynamic. It’s a chance to stay on your toes, tackle new challenges, and make a real impact.
What’s involved?
- Create and maintain comprehensive Management Accounts, including reconciling balance sheets.
- Review and approve stakeholder reports to ensure accuracy before submission.
- Collaborate with the Finance and Underwriting teams to reconcile and align risk and finance bordereaux.
- Provide Management Information (MI) reports to the MD and help refine these reports to support decision-making.
- Develop and refine processes and systems to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
- Work with the Open GI and Sage development teams to verify data accuracy.
- Ensure timely billing for all income streams.
- Develop a comprehensive process pack for financial activities in specific business areas to support ISO accreditation.
- Supervise and develop team members, overseeing their work.
- Collaborate with the Finance Director on business accounts across different departments.

- Professional accountancy qualification or QBE (PQ will be considered)
