If you enjoy being in total control of the accounts function from managing the ledgers, to reporting, to end-to-end management accounts production, this role is the perfect fit for you.
As a stand alone role, you really do need to be a master of all aspects of accounts. Of course, you’ll have the support of the MD and external accountants, but the responsibility of the day-to-day, month-end and year-end task will all come under your remit.
Be rest assured, you can settle into this role on a long-term basis. The MD is looking for his Finance Manager to stay with the business for the next 5-10yrs (indefinitely if possible!!!) so for someone looking for stability, longevity and a business to settle into for the rest of their career, it’s a phenomenal option.
