Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and mentoring a team of 4 (Finance Assistants & Purchase Ledger)
- Getting under the skin of the numbers – producing insightful management accounts, profitability reports, and variance analysis
- Keeping our finances sharp with balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, cash flow monitoring, and statutory reporting
- Driving continuous improvements in systems, processes, and controls
- Partnering with senior stakeholders (up to VP level) to support smart decision-making
- Being hands-on when needed, but also stepping back to coach, develop, and support your team
On your profile, the business is looking for more than just a “numbers person.” Somone curious, motivated, and confident in their abilities – but you’re also approachable, supportive, and great at building relationships. You’ll happily jump in to problem-solve, but you also know when to delegate and coach.
This role is perfect if you want to play a key part in shaping how a finance team runs – with the support of a Group Financial Controller who values partnership, collaboration, and results.
